Official Rules for the Wing Eating Contest

1. Competition Structure:

• Each round of the competition will last 5 minutes.
• After each 5-minute round, judges will count the number of fully eaten wings per contestant.
• Partially eaten wings will not be counted. A fully eaten wing has no meat left on the bone.
• Judges will count the number of wings eaten and inspect the bones to ensure all meat has been consumed.

2. Tie-Breakers:

• In the event of a tie, additional wings may be provided, or a sudden-death round may be held.

3. Prizes:

• Each round ·        
  • Custom hat by Parker($300 value)
  • $100 gift card to Number 38
  • Qualified for Chicken Fight Wing contest finals!

·        $50 Cash

·        $50 Gift Card to Number 38

• The top 6 finishers from the 4 rounds will advance to the live finale at Chicken Fight Fest on August 29th at Elitch Gardens.
• The live finale will be one 10-minute round.
• The grand champion of the finale will be awarded $1000 (TBD).
• Each contestant in the finale will also receive 4 First Taste Tickets to Chicken Fight.

4. General Rules:

• Contestants must fully consume each wing, leaving no meat on the bone for it to be counted.
• Judges’ decisions on counts and inspections are final.
• Contestants must abide by all event rules and conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner.

5. Safety and Conduct:

• Contestants must be at least 21 years old to participate.
• Any contestant found cheating or not following the rules will be disqualified.
• Contestants must disclose any food allergies or medical conditions prior to participating.
